Nearly half of all hotel overnights in Switzerland were generated by domestic travelers, while international guests accounted for the remaining 52% — split between European and overseas markets. All three segments showed growth compared to 2024.

Top 10 Foreign Markets
Among foreign markets, Germany is the number-one market, generating 3.9 million overnights, followed closely by the United States at 3.7 million. Rounding out the top ten are the United Kingdom & Ireland, France, BeNeLux, Greater China, Italy, GCC states, Spain & Portugal, and India.
