General information

The Switzerland Travel Mart (STM) is the most important event to increase sales of Switzerland travel products and services.
It is organized by Switzerland Tourism in cooperation with Swiss International Air Lines, Swiss Travel System and the destination Davos Klosters.

The STM takes place every two years and provides a professional platform to showcase the entire range of tourism products and services in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. A tried-and-tested system of 20-minute meetings each allows participants to make appointments with as many as 42 different business partners during the two workshop days. Switzerland Tourism’s aim is to strengthen the presence of Swiss offerings in the portfolios of tour operators.

The STM starts in the evening of the first day with an opening ceremony and a get-together. This is followed by two workshop days. The closing ceremony takes place at the end of the second workshop day.

Approx. 450 tour operators from over 50 countries and 350 Swiss suppliers are expected to participate.

Prior to the STM, buyers can book appointments online. Additional meetings may be made at the suppliers' booths during the first hour of the STM.

MICE workshop
Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB) organizes a special program for meeting planners.

Media program
In the morning of the first workshop day, a media round table/expert exchange with media representatives from Switzerland and abroad will be held. A special leisure program for media representatives is offered on the second workshop day.

Host destination evening
On the first workshop day, the host destination organizes a special evening for all STM participants.

Post-convention tours

All STM suppliers have the opportunity to offer a post-convention tour to the buyers.
